About Catharina Vastbinder

Catharina Vastbinder (aka Cathy) joined Zeringue Law Group as an associate attorney in 2014. Previously, Cathy earned her BS in Nursing from Nicholls State University. She worked as a registered nurse while putting herself through Loyola Law School. After graduating from Loyola Law School, Cathy gained experience as an attorney working in commercial litigation and insurance defense. At Zeringue Law Group, she has continued gaining experience in commercial litigation and insurance defense, but has also added new practice areas, such as wills and successions, and most importantly, personal injury and medical malpractice. Her nursing experience enhanced her passion for working with clients in personal injury and medical malpractice. Cathy’s knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese also allows her to serve clients of all backgrounds and more effectively meet their needs.

In her very rare spare time, Cathy enjoys cycling with friends and spending time with family.
